Where is Austin Jerrel Renshaw?

img_25840Austin Jerrel Renshaw was born on Jan. 11, 1981.  He was 6′ 1″, 160 pounds at the time of his disappearance.  He is a white male, with brown hair and green/hazel eyes.  He has a tattoo of a Chinese character on his left forearm.  He has had previous substance abuse problems.

22-year-old Austin Jerrel Renshaw was last seen on October 27, 2003.  He had purchased a meal at a local McDonald’s at 7:30 a.m. in Spring Glen, Washington.  He vanished and has never been seen again.  He was driving a blue 1993 Hyundai Accent with the license plate # 889HDS.  His car was found abandoned in the parking lot of Chinook Middle School in Seattle-Tacoma, Washington, about 25 miles from his home.

The car had been towed on November 6, over a week after Renshaw’s disappearance.

In the car was Renshaw’s partially eaten meal, a receipt for the food, and some cash.  The car’s hood was damaged, but there were no other clues.

Renshaw lived with two other men in Maple Valley, Washington at the time of his disappearance.  He worked construction jobs.  His roommates said they believe he committed suicide, but his family and the police believe foul play is involved.

He attended several area churches, but he hasn’t been seen in them since his disappearance.  A few days before he went missing, he told his sister he was afraid for his life.

No one has been charged and Renshaw is still missing.  He would be 34 years old today.

  2. Sam Flagg says:

When somebody you care about very much is missing, it consumes your every waking moment. The questions in your mind that fill your thoughts become more and more a part of you than anything else until it almost drives you insane. I know from experience this kind of unanswered disappearance is life-changing. Please if you know anything or even think you may know someone who does, help his mother, Deborah Eklund, and all those who loved him find some closure. They not only deserve closure, but the “peace” of mind it will bring. Thank You.
