michelle-parkerOrlando, Florida police have released new surveillance video in the two-year-old disappearance of Michelle Parker (left).  The footage shows Parker’s Hummer stopped at a red light at 8:55 p.m. on November 17, 2011, less than a mile away from the mall where her vehicle was found the next day.  The decals on the car, which advertised Parker’s tanning business, had been removed.  Allegedly, the decals were already removed in the surveillance video.

Authorities said they could not tell who was behind the wheel.  Parker was last seen at 3:30 p.m. after dropping off her two youngest children with their father, Dale Smith Jr.  The police have characterized the video as a “significant” part of the timeline adding that they waited two years to release the video in order to “protect the integrity of the investigation” and stave off false tips.

Detective Mike Moreschi also divulged that police do not believe there was only one perpetrator.
